Isopropyl alcohol(IPA) is an aliphatic alcohol with good water solubility. It has a specific smell (sweet odor). This substance is not edible and has a lower freezing point. It can be used as a solvent for ethyl cellulose, polyvinyl butyral, oil, alkaloids and resin.
